How do I report a power outage?
You can report outages online through our website, call
1-800-NO-POWER, or use our mobile app. Our automated systems often
detect outages before they're reported, and we'll send updates on
restoration progress.
How do I start or stop electric service?
You can start or stop service online through our website or by
calling customer service at 1-800-POWER-ON. We recommend
scheduling service changes at least 2 business days in advance.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payments by check, credit card, debit card, bank
transfer, and cash at authorized payment locations. You can pay
online, by phone, by mail, or in person at our service centers.
How can I lower my energy bill?
Take advantage of our energy efficiency programs, adjust your
thermostat settings, use LED lighting, and consider our
time-of-use rates. We offer free energy audits to help identify
savings opportunities.
What should I do if I smell gas?
If you smell gas, leave the area immediately, don't use electrical
switches or phones, and call 911 and our emergency line at
1-800-NO-POWER from a safe location. Do not try to locate the
source yourself.
How do I read my smart meter?
Smart meters automatically send readings to us, so you don't need
to read them manually. You can view your usage data in real-time
through our website or mobile app.
What is net metering?
Net metering allows customers with solar panels to receive credit
for excess electricity they generate and send back to the grid.
You'll receive full retail rate credit for the energy you
contribute.
